Mail Me Art Project - Snail Mail Me Art - illustration by Rod Hunt on Flickr.
Via Flickr:
Here’s my submission for the Mail Me Art project, an international mail art project.
Makes a change to create physical artwork rather than pushing pixels!
————-
Mail Me Art is a project that has brought together an international community of artists and illustrators, amateur and professional alike, through art in the form of mail. The posted package itself is the work of art and, unlike a traditional letter or parcel, it is intended to be received and admired for it’s own sake.
The exhibition ‘Mail Me Art: Short & Sweet’ is at The Framers Gallery from 30th July – 3rd August 2013. The gallery will be open Tuesday to Friday from 10am – 5.30pm and 11am till 5pm on Saturday. All of the mail art will be on display and the new book will be available to buy and browse.

Don’t Let Short Term Greed Get in the Way of Long Term Greed, my piece in the new book The Best Piece of Advice Ever
The Creative Social and leading creative representation agency Bernstein & Andriull have teamed up to for their latest book, app and website “The Best Piece of Advice Ever”, inviting the “who’s who” in art, design, fashion and media from all over the globe.
It was born of a simple yet quite fantastic question by Microsoft brand strategist, David Pugh-Jones, to one of the speakers at a Creative Social conference in Paris: “What’s the best piece of advice you have ever been given?” Jim Haynes, an accomplished fellow, notorious for the lively open dinner parties hosted at his Parisian apartment for 35 years responded “if you do something for someone, forget it immediately. If someone does something for you, remember it always”. Advice we try to adhere to every day.
The book collects the best piece of advice from each of the “Socials” ( members of CS ), matches them with the talented illustrators and designers from Bernstein & Andriulli, and brings them to life.

Attractions include the Blackpool Tower, Pleasure Beach, SeaLife Centre, Blackpool Zoo, Madame Tussauds, North Pier, Sandcastle Waterpark, Winter Gardens, Trams & the new Comedy Carpet. There’s a crazy amount of detail, so please click the image to enlarge.
